Luckly it was very dark so nobody could see we were out with a freek on a strange bike.

First ride tonight on the special needs 29er, and all I can say is all the hipe is right, very very pleased :)So not only do you have something to take the mick out off but I get to go even faster :woohoo:

And another one, it seems there a lot of people that get over 40 and it go's a little crazy because they cant keep up with the younger guys and then go for the strange instead.

OK so quite a 29er, but a 36er...

was surfin’ around and I found this image from Blonde Fabrications. A 36-inch-wheeled mtb. Appropriately named the Amazon Blonde 36er, the builder apparently races it too. I’m sure it handles like a tank, but I love it when people are willing to push a concept (in this case, 29er wheels vs the standard 26 mtb wheels) to the extreme.

When you look at this picture, keep in mind that the my whole bike could pass thru the rim if it were not for the spokes.
