Its a proper red trail as opposed to the AC/LW blue so more akin to the Whites etc. The black option is certainly very testing for a trail ride especially when wet and greasy. Definitely worth a visit though.

We didn't see stile cop, but it is right next to the monkey trail.

Good to hear Dangerous is back in action!

How was Cannock? I've fancied giving it a go for a while. Did you have a look at any of the DH trails?

Im itching to get up the clump but am in too much pain.

Me and tim.i.am did cannock yesterday and I took a tumble on the black section and hurt my back. I was going OTB but was stopped by a tree. If you imagine bending over backwards and trying to get the back of your head to touch your arse you are in the ballpark.

Just off to get some more codeine :-(

Cheers for the offer but I have a chain whip. The bugger is just on sooooo tight its unbelievable. In the end I took a cassette off my GT (it'll do untill I buy a new one).

As for the threads, it looks like they have been cross threaded in the past. The bb goes on and tightens up, but it is tight all the way. Hopefully going to give it it maiden voyage tonight at the clump. You up for it?
How hard can it be?

I have a chain whip if you need to borrow it? If the crank thread is gone is it possible to get it recut?

Got a new saint crank last night and fitted to the new dh bike. The bb was very tight fitting, I think the thread on the drive side of the frame is a bit dodgy :(

My new wheel has turned up also, so now all I got to do is get the rear cassette off the old wheel. The bloody thing is on there super tight. It's currently soaking in some WD40 but there were a few choice words last night. So I might end up having to get a new rear cassette.
