So, did anyone make it out today?
There had better be some downhill after this climb...

I'm still pretty wiped out by this flu, I could prob manage a bit of dh but a full xc loop would be too much for me this weekend.

The Clump was awesome. Loads of trails packed into a small area, a lot of which interlink so a choice of 10+ different lines I'd say. Not long runs and not very steep but lots of jumps of all different sizes with fast rolling and grippy berms. There are a couple of lines with pretty big gap jumps or step up/step downs with no option to roll them, so plenty of stuff to work up to! There are also some easier lines as well so something for everyone and pretty much all the lines end up at the same point so you can choose what you want to hit and all walk back up together. As it's not that long, it's a pretty easy walk up as well.

There were a couple of really good, quick riders hitting some of the bigger stuff but were really friendly and told us about other trails in other parts of the woods which sounded interesting. We didn't get a chance to have a look as we were having too much fun and a bit time restricted but apparently are a couple of lines which are more bermy/technical without as many jumps. Also a dirt jump style section, which they said was pretty big - having seen them hit some of the other stuff, I guess that means it really is pretty big! Then there's the big step down (on the video). They said it's really nice as you can just drop off a few feet if you fancy, or if you hit it with pace, you can clear 30ft!

All in all, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you fancy working on your jumping as a lot of options of all sizes to choose from. Different to A51 but I'd say just as much fun. Not forgetting there's the other stuff we didn't try. I have a feeling I'm gonna be getting up there quite a lot before the Alps!
