To be honest there was, that was the biggest problem. The puddles were so big that you had no idea how deep they were. Halfway down Lower Almoundsbury hill was such a large puddle/lake that it was up to the bottom bracket. So both feet were then wet'ish as we had on water proof socks and boots.

Nice work, I thought there was gonna be floods last night the rain was shocking.
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Some of you might be aware that myself and Nathan have got the road bikes out and started doing some miles on the quieter roads over towards the Seven Bridge. We did 15 miles last night in the poring (understatement) rain. So Justin it it true with what you say, as long as you have good waterproof clothing than it does not mater what the weather is doing. So we can both give the thumbs up for the Endura Stealth and Enduro MT500 jackets and were 100% waterproof.

So over 30miles this week. we are going to try and make it 50 miles next week with 2 longer 25 mile rides during the week. It cant be any worse than last night. :unsure:can it !
