OK, So I am going to need to get a new body armour top at some point over the next few moths as I sold my Poc Jacket when I came back for Morzine. The POC jacket was very comfortable but also very pricey and even though they have come down there are a new lightweight group of body armour on the market.

So views on what you think is the best, so neck brace compatible would be a good option as I m ight be going down that route at some point. Was also thinking or just a top with no arm protection as I have the pads for that....but not 100% about that yet. It obviously needs to be cool for summer days.

So what new ? whats you views ?

Must haves
Back board a MUST
Cool
Light
Sort D30 type form rather than hard plastic....

cheers
lee

I have also been looking at this as I have sold my neck brace as it's not comfy with my new helmet
This offers the best coolness/ protection/ NB compatibility but is not discrete as you know

This is discrete, cool & lightweight but wont stop against hard knocks

This offers hard knock protection & NB compatibility but is not short sleeve

- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

The padding is quite soft on that one mind.

I'll be ordering the Troy Lee body armour tonight, so when it turns up you can take a look.
How hard can it be?
